Johnson County Volunteer Experience

I am proud to have spent the last 18 years working and connecting with Johnson County families.  It is important to me to give back to the community that I call home.  I grew up in Johnson County and participated in and benefited from our wonderful community resources.  One thing we all have in common is the desire to make our home the best possible place to live.  By serving in a variety of roles I have been able to learn how to effectively operate in various settings.  From the board room of one of the state’s largest school districts, to meetings with legislators in Topeka advocating for public schools, to mentoring youth on the softball field I am adept at working with others and understand the value of working together to accomplish goals.  I am excited to expand my civic engagement and public service to a broader county level.
